Erik Sikora (ur. 1986 w Koszycach) – absolwent Akademii Sztuk Pięknych w Pradze, obecnie realizuje doktorat na Wydziale Sztuk Pięknych Politechniki w Koszycach, badając zagadnienia autentyczności i interakcji w społeczeństwie epoki postinternetowej. Jego prace znajdują się w stałych kolekcjach Regionalnej Galerii Sztuk Pięknych w Zlínie oraz Galerii Kutná Hora w Kutnej Horze, w Czechach. Erik Sikora opisuje siebie jako obywatela, ojca, artystę, autora piosenek i „wiejskiego kosmitę”. Analizuje i dekonstruuje swoje życiowe doświadczenia do najdrobniejszych szczegółów, a następnie wzbogaca je poprzez różnorodne formy, takie jak vlogi, poezja i wystąpienia inspirowane formatami Pecha Kucha i TEDx.

Raw spaghetti, industrially produced, each the same as the other, placed in a public space goes wild and takes on a personality.”

Erik Sikora (born 1986 in Košice) – a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague, currently pursuing a PhD at the Faculty of Fine Arts at the Technical University in Košice, researching issues of authenticity and interaction in the society of the post-internet era. His works are in the permanent collections of the Regional Gallery of Fine Arts in Zlín and the Kutná Hora Gallery in Kutná Hora, Czech Republic. Erik Sikora describes himself as a citizen, father, artist, songwriter and „village alien”. He analyses and deconstructs his life experiences to the smallest detail, and then enriches them through various forms, such as vlogs, poetry and talks inspired by the formats of Pecha Kucha and TEDx.
